Crew Cabin Coordinator (Remote)


 

Job Description


The Crew Cabin Request ("CCR") system and database was developed to streamline the process for shipboard and shoreside personnel (i.e. traveling positions, contractors, vendors and other CCL team members) who are seeking to secure cabins for business/operational purposes. Centralized within the shoreside Corporate Office, the Crew Cabin Coordinator is responsible for operating, managing and maintaining the CCR system, ensuring that all requests are handled in a timely, transparent and equitable manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage the movement and placement of all assigned spare crew cabins in accordance with organizational policy and procedure using the Crew Cabin Application (system)
  • Responsible for addressing, following-up on and responding to all Crew Cabin Request submissions and email inquiries
  • Optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness by maximizing occupancy levels with the least amount of impact to revenue
  • Responsible for organizing the approval and assignment of guest cabin requests
  • Create and update statistical tools, databases, workbooks and reports using the Crew Cabin System, Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and other information databases
  • Responsible for compiling, analyzing and comparing data on crew/guest cabin occupancy and trends to suggest opportunities for improvement
  • Perform administrative tasks including but not limited to organizing data, responding to telephone calls, and preparing and submitting requested data in a timely and accurate manner

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of relative/administrative experience
  • Ability to multi-task, effective communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, team player, strong interpersonal skills

The range for this role’s base salary is $17.00 - $19.00 per hour. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.
