Our team is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of VoluntEARS campaigns and events across the enterprise.
This is a Project Hire (PH) role with an anticipated project length of 18 months.

Responsibilities:
- In partnership with the manager, contribute to the development, launch, and implementation of the Disney VoluntEARS program
- Support the end-to-end management of campaigns, key activations, tentpole events (e.g., D23 Expo), and charitable donations
- Work with key stakeholders to coordinate event details, maintain project posts, track and log employee volunteer hours
- Post Disney VoluntEARS projects and act as Project Leader when needed
- Engage with nonprofit partners and support the strategic development of VoluntEARS activations
- Support content development and communications efforts tied to growing awareness of the VoluntEARS program
- Support the development and deployment of enterprise-wide communications materials (e.g., one-sheets, overview decks, project plans)
- Manage the program email inbox (e.g., respond to employee questions, handle nonprofit requests)
- Manage recurring and ad hoc meetings with internal and external partners by sending meeting invitations, preparing agendas, taking notes, distributing next steps, and tracking project milestones
- Analyze and track competitor research, analysis and monitor the progress of various volunteering strategies
- Process invoices and help manage the tracking of program budgets and charitable grants
- Proactively seek and suggest process improvements and efficiencies, to aid in planning and communication
Basic Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of professional experience with demonstrated success in corporate social responsibility, environmental/sustainability work, working with nonprofits and/or within a highly matrixed organization
- Have a human-centered mindset and an innate desire to make a positive impact in our community
- Demonstrated time management, project management, and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working within a team environment and independently
- Proficient across Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Event planning or coordination experience
- Experience analyzing, reporting, and summarizing data
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing/Public Relations or a related field
- Familiarity with Smartsheet, or other project management systems
- Familiarity with CyberGrants, or other grant management systems
- Prior experience in technology and/or the entertainment industry
- Knowledge of communications channels, digital tools (intranets, social media, etc.)

The hiring range for this position in California is $69,946.00 to $93,830.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
