Role/Office Location Options: United States Army Garrison-Hawaii (Schofield Barracks, Wheeler Army Airfield, and Pohakuloa Training Center)


Minimum Requirements:

Be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance

Minimum of one (1) year of verifiable related job experience

Ability to lift/carry up to fifty (50) pounds.

Possess knowledge of AR 25-2, Army Cybersecurity


Job Description:

Provide Tier I and II help desk support and desktop touch labor for MS Windows systems.

Coordinate with the client and/or Network Enterprise Center (NEC) to install, configure, troubleshoot, scan, and repair personal computer workstations, classroom workstations, thin client workstations, personal digital assistant (PDA) devices, printers, and operations systems.

Coordinate with client and/or NEC to load, configure, and troubleshoot software applications unique to the USAG-HI customer.

Administer access controls and lock systems.

Create, remove, or edit user accounts within Active Directory and/or Microsoft Teams.

Monitor system performance, diagnose and repair software or hardware computer problems, perform software or hardware upgrades, and be required to troubleshoot and configure software to user specifications.

Coordinate with the NEC as required to ensure systems are maintained with current anti-virus engines and definitions on all Information Systems.

Patch Information Systems listed on the Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) received from the NEC.
