JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the accurate and timely posting of electronic, paper and credit card payments along with adjustments into the billing system.
This position will work remotely from the individual’s home office. Therefore, the individual must possess ability to effectively work from home remotely e.g., office space, adequate internet bandwidth and technical aptitude in a confidential area.

Northwest Pathology, P.S. dba Avero Diagnostics operates on a 24/7/365 basis; individual may be required to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Schedule flexibility with and without advanced notice is required.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Posting payments in a timely manner as directed.
- Post all patient, insurance, and client’s payments into RCM system.
- Retrieve EFT payments for proper handling.
- Assess insurance explain of benefits (EOBS) for proper handling.
- Handle account revisions in a timely manner.
- Balance payments posted to receipts and deposits.
- Coordinates credits and refunds.
- Scan necessary items.
- Performs assigned tasks given by Manager.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus.
- Active and valid US State-Issued Driver’s License with acceptable motor vehicle record as defined and approved by the company’s vehicle insurance carrier.
EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1 years of experience required preferred 3+ years:
- Medical billing payment posting
