Full-time position available with the General Services Department, Administration Division located at 414 East 12th Street
Salary Range: $7,268-$10,902/month
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex process improvement, direct and coordinate cross-functional teams, develop business cases, and analyze complex data.
- They will identify and assess opportunities for improvement, develop and implement plans, track progress and performance, and ensure sustainability of gains.
- Assists with the development of citywide policies, procedures and controls through consultation with division heads on administrative and business activities, and programs.
- Reviews budget estimates, special reports and proposals, prepares drafts of proposals, makes reports on completed projects and City programs.
- Confers with officials and other representatives of governmental agencies, consulting firms, and contractors on problems relating to projects being proposed or in progress.
- Develop and implement data management strategies and policies to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and security.
- Establish data governance practices, including data quality standards, data documentation, and data lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to design and implement data management systems, databases, and reporting tools.
- Oversee data collection, validation, analysis, and reporting activities to support business decision-making.
- Stay updated on data management best practices and emerging trends in data governance, analytics, and visualization.
- Assist management operations with ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of various departments.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and guidelines to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess operational performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with division heads to streamline processes, optimize resource allocation, and drive operational excellence.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to uphold high standards of product/service delivery.
Qualifications
REQUIRES an accredited Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or public administration or other appropriate disciplines and 8 years experience in varied public or private sector programs, including 4 years administrative and supervisory experience of a progressively responsible nature in a business setting.

Unless otherwise specified, an accredited degree must be obtained from a college or university listed with the U.S. Department of Education and recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
For positions with a salary grade of EX6 or higher that require an accredited degree, qualifying professional experience must be obtained AFTER the accredited degree is obtained.
Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history/background check is required for all positions. Some positions require a post offer drug screen and/or physical.
If appointed, non-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
