Receptionist Job Summary:

We are looking for an outgoing and professional front desk receptionist to add to our growing team. This position will be performing clerical tasks within our office setting to support daily operation and assist other departments when needed. These daily tasks include answering and transferring phone calls, maintaining a tidy office, greeting visitors when they arrive for meetings or training classes and assisting with paperwork/data entry tasks.

Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer, transfer and/or take messages for phone calls
  • Greet and direct visitors
  • Help maintain a tidy office
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Organize and scan files for other departments
  • Track and order office supplies as needed
  • Track and prepare for Administrative Staff Birthdays
  • Assist in company event preparation
  • Assist with In-house Training class preparation
  • Run company errands as needed
  • Assist other departments with administrative tasks as needed

Position Benefits:

  • Base Pay: $15-$18 depending on experience
  • Full-time employment: 40 hours a week (Monday-Friday)

Receptionist Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum - high school graduation
  • Verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly and professionally
  • Organizational skills to keep paperwork and the office presentation in order
  • Time management skills to prioritize and complete a variety of tasks throughout the day
  • Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all customers/employees
  • Proficiency with standard office software
  • Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
