Under the general supervision of the Talent Acquisition Specialist, with a dotted reporting line to the HR Manager, the HR Assistant provides administrative, recruitment, payroll, and operational support for the UCLA Extension Human Resources department. Major responsibilities include: staff and instructor recruitment, hiring and onboarding assistance, administrative-HR office support, processing payroll transactions, and assistance with special projects. Incumbent assists in meeting departmental objectives by becoming familiar with all aspects of the work within the department.
