RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures a proper supply of clean dishware, utensils, and glassware to stock the dining areas and set tables
- Ensures a proper supply of clean pots, pans, and cooking/serving utensils are available for kitchen staff
- Cleans work areas and all equipment used in food preparation
- Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices
- Deliver exceptional service by ensuring all dishes are spotlessly washed and sanitized in a timely manner
- Performing minor kitchen maintenance; washing dishes, emptying the trash and mopping floors
- Ensure that all chemicals are properly used in the dish machine
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools
- Support other areas of the restaurant as necessary, such as setup, cleanup, prep work or table bussing
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or high school equivalency diploma preferred
- Previous experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be 18 years of age
- Be able to work in a standing and moving position for long periods of time
